Protecting Historic
Golf Clubs
for the Long Term
We believe golf’s greatest
stories should be lived,
shared and passed on
Scotland has golf courses that cannot be recreated. Their history, architecture, character and place in their communities have been built over generations.
The Ancient Links Golf Company brings together irreplaceable historic community golf clubs. We provide the investment, expertise and continuity needed to support their long-term future, while protecting the identity, traditions and member experience that make each Club distinctive.
As part of the Ancient Links collection, every Club remains proudly itself, while benefiting from shared expertise, specialist support and access to leading industry partners.
Your Club remains your Club
Ancient Links does not take ownership of the Club. The Club remains in place, owned by its members, preserving its name, identity, history and place within the community.
Members retain control over the things that matter most. From the outset, the legal agreements clearly define the key areas reserved for the Club and its members, including protections around membership, access, pricing, Club competitions, the identity of the Club and defined material changes to the course.
Ancient Links takes responsibility for investment, day-to-day operations and long-term development of the venue, giving both parties clear and distinct roles from the outset.
